Santosh’s Story of Hope in India – (Read Time: 1 min.)

Discovering Her Passion

“My favorite memories of being an Artisan are sitting together with my friends and having a good time while we work. I enjoy making the wax tree used in the casting process. The wax casting is the first step. After casting, the metal is cooled down, washed, and cut into shape before we file it down to accentuate the design.”

Pursuing Her Dreams

“My dream is to see my children well educated and happily settled down. Before I became an Artisan, I wasn’t able to send my children to school. My husband is a laborer and does not receive regular wages. So, without my work, I would not be able to provide my family with food and other necessities.”

“Now I’m able to support my family financially with a stable source of income. With my earnings, I now try my best to ensure that they get a good education, which will give them a chance at a bright future!” – Santosh, Artisan in India
