Mosmeen’s Story of Hope     "I was married off at a very young age to a man from another village. This is the tradition in our village. When the girls become teenagers, they are married off by their parents for a better life. The girls have no say. Sadly, some years later, my husband deserted me. I was left alone with my three children and no security or dignity.       Now I’m happy that I’ve become independent. We have our dignity and economic security. All three of my children can go to school, and I’m also able to support other female Artisans in my village."    Babli's Story of Hope   Babli lives in an area of extreme poverty in India where vulnerable women are often exploited in sweatshops with unfair wages, unreasonable hours, and unsafe workspaces. As an Artisan in this workshop, she can earn fair wages working reasonable hours in a safe workspace. The income she earns as an Artisan is empowering her to lead her family out of poverty. Amina’s Story of Hope  "It's important for me to have a job so I can send my child to school. I'm able to work from home, stringing bracelets, beading, and learn more about fair trade. My hope is to see good designs and development take place for us as a company. I would love to see more designs that help me better my skill even more."
