Saima’s Story of Hope    “I learned embroidery from my parents. Embroidery work is a traditional craft. Many families in the community are involved in this home-based, small-scale craft. There are many families depending on this work and all the family members are involved in it. Since my childhood, I have seen my mother doing embroidery work in the afternoons, after finishing the household work. I started helping my mother and learned embroidery skills from her. It also helped to have some income. I am happy now that I know this craft. I have three children, two daughters and a son.  My daughters are 14 and 12 years old. My son is 7 years old. They are both attending school.  I feel good that my children are getting an education. My dream is that my children complete their education, and we have more regular work.”
