Meet the Artisan

Erica's Story of Hope        “I started to learn how to make jewelry when I was 13 years old, when an outreach team came to do a jewelry workshop. I became an artisan when I turned 18 and have been working with this group for 5 years. I was one of the first survivors to live in our safe house.   My life has changed so much. I feel happy to be able to create jewelry for a company like Trades of Hope. It makes me very proud, and I love when I see people wearing the jewelry that we made and knowing what impact it has on our work to help more girls who are in situations like I was many years ago. My dream for the future is to finish my university degree and then I want to pursue further studies in fashion design, which I love.”
