Add a refined global accent to your space with our Jaspe Throw Pillow, a stunning example of traditional Guatemalan craftsmanship. Also known as ikat, jaspe is a meticulous dyeing and weaving technique that creates intricate patterns with beautiful movement and depth.
Each pillow is made from handspun and handwoven fabric designed by a women’s artisan cooperative in San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. Their centuries-old weaving traditions are reflected in every detail. The final sewing is expertly completed by the talented tailors at Ruth and Naomi, an ethical workshop supporting dignified employment and hope for the future.
Perfect as a decorative pillow for your couch, a throw pillow for your bed, or a designer accent pillow layered with neutrals, the Jaspe Pillow adds color, texture, and a powerful story to your home.

RUTH AND NAOMI is a sewing and crafts cooperative in Chichicastenango, Guatemala founded by local tailor and Methodist pastor, Diego Chicoj. The cooperative began as a way to provide a source of income to widows of Guatemala’s Civil War. Now, both men and women sew and weave tableware, pillows, and blankets. They also crochet bags and coasters.
