Flavia’s Story of Hope "I have worked as a coffee roaster and packaging coffee for 12 years. I was looking for a job and the opportunity to learn to roast coffee came up. I learned to roast all different types of coffee depending on the order. To roast coffee is a very delicate process, plus you have to be very concentrated. One minute more or less can make the difference. Where I live there are not a lot of job opportunities, so you have to travel to bigger towns. Without my job, I wouldn’t have any income to support my family and I would have less opportunities. My work is helping me to achieve my dreams because it gives me new opportunities and new things to learn. My dream is that the coffee business grows so we all have a job."

I gave up drinking coffee a few years ago because of reflux. But when visiting the coffee plantation in Guatemala where these beans are grown, I had to try again. I have always added some kind of cream or milk and sweetener, but this coffee is so smooth and delicious on its own that I don’t need to add anything to it!
