Asha's Story of HopeThere are no opportunities in India if you don't have a good education, and all I have is a skill I learned from my mother. My mother taught me basic weaving and braiding. I shaped up this skill and polished it to become a Team Leader in this workshop where today, I have nine women working with me.Everyday coming to work and having a sense of responsibility and accountability for work gives me pride in what I do. I have also taught my skills to a lot of women who have made a difference in their lives by this work. I dream of giving my daughters a good education. The eldest one wants to be a doctor and the other two want to be teachers. All three girls are bright, so we want to fulfill their dreams academically.
