Bold and Expectant

We come forth new and bold and expectant from a year that forever changed our world and how we live in it. We have grown. We have endured. And we have risen. From nation to nation, issues have been brought to light that need to come to the forefront of our work.

From diversity, to caring for each other, to the impact on the global economy – we need to stand hand-in-hand with each other as we step into the future. And we would be remiss as a brand if we didn’t pay attention to the changes in front of us.

 Truthfully, Trades of Hope has always had a DNA that addresses the issues of the global economy, equality, diversity, and the basic needs of human beings.

With that being said, we thought of everything our sisters and brothers – near and far – experienced this year and revisited the year’s concepts from a new eye and perspective.

We cannot become complacent and continue to show concepts that speak more to fashion and color trends than the now-overlying issues that impact everything we do and everyone with whom we stand.

So, it’s time to unapologetically shout out who we are with our 2021 evergreen concept: One World.

One World expresses who Trades of Hope has always been in a new, bold, and empowering way. Since day one, we have helped others look beyond our borders into the needs of our global community.

One World is the idea that our world is interdependent.

We are all more alike than we are different.

We are all kindred spirits who support one another in our pursuit for fulfillment.

We all, as women, belong to each other.

It is a harmonious euphony of a dynamic world that is both colorful and expressive.

The illustrations grow out of the linear controlled world and transform into a living mural because as the title suggests, we are one world.

 Multicolor Palette

While the color palette is bright, our main focus will be on the trending teals and aquas with warm earthy tones as accents and a soft khaki as the main neutral. The yellow, grey and rose also represent the different metal colors we want to showcase in the catalog. Finally, the multicolor palette offers variety, allowing us to shift throughout multiple seasons.

Just as we reach across borders and intermix as one community, most of the designs in the 2021 line are meant to be mixed and matched in endless ways! To have one piece is to have a sister piece to them all – from layering chains to charms to customizable earrings. Each look is a genuine expression of who you are inside and could be worn totally differently than your sister next to you!

With each sunset of 2021, as we take off the jewelry, lay down the bags, and fold the clothes – we are reminded of why we do what we do.

Each style is just the physical expression of something so much greater.

The impact of each design is our driving inspiration.

Women around the world and their strength are our muse.

We have a vision of the world where women – from nation to nation – live unapologetically joyful lives.

We are women who know what we want and create the opportunity to reach it. We believe that success is not a lofty goal reserved for a few. It’s found in every woman who rises each day to show up has her beautifully imperfect self. 

We make no apologies for the success, boldness, and influence we work to create for women near and far. From Artisan to Partner, our income gives us confidence, pride, and peace of mind. Because of our work, we radiate as our true selves. And we collectively rise to illuminate a more hopeful world.
