“I can’t remember life before being an Artisan. I helped my grandmother embroider since I was a child. At first it was for fun and eventually I was doing so much, it became my profession!
As a little girl, Erica watched her family make all different kinds of beautiful creations. Her favorite thing was playing with amber and embroidering her clothing, so her grandma taught her about both!
Artisan Skills Passed Down For Generations
My grandmother taught me everything I know and through her, I learned everything she knows! She taught me about amber – how it’s energetic and how to find the most interesting and beautiful pieces. She taught me how to embroider differently than everyone else so with my hard work, I’m able to stand out from the crowd and sell my designs better.
Hope for the Next Generation
I love being an Artisan and meeting people who love what I make. It’s been a big and wonderful blessing working as an Artisan and seeing happy people wearing my creations. There is nothing more rewarding than that! Every piece I make, I do it with lots of love and dedication!
I’m so thankful and happy to be able to work with such a wonderful company like Trades of Hope, and I hope that the people who buy my creations love them! I hope they know that this work changes my life for the better, my son’s life, and my family’s lives. I thank God to have connected with you!”
